"I'm exhausted. I don't even remember the last time I slept a whole night."
"I tried breastfeeding but it hurt like hell. I don't think I was making enough milk anyway."
"Postpartum was really rough for me physically, mentally and emotionally. I felt alone and I wish I had more support."
Almost every parent says the same thing after having a new baby:
The early weeks after birth come with raw emotions, new responsibilities, and countless questions that leave you questioning whether you're doing something, or anything right.
But what if you didn't have to feel this way? Imagine a postpartum where you feel:
Confident in your parenting prowess
Well-rested and grounded the first few weeks into your recovery
Supported, nurtured, and loved with the same strength you give others
This is exactly what our postpartum doula support provides. Our doulas provide expert hands-on support so you can heal, understand and bond with your baby, and figure out your new normal, without feeling overwhelmed or alone.
With our certified postpartum doulas, you get personalized care so you can focus on what matters most: bonding with your baby, healing at your own pace, and actually enjoying these early weeks.

Postpartum Doula FAQ
What does a daytime postpartum doula actually do?
A daytime postpartum doula provides hands-on newborn care, feeding support, emotional guidance, and practical household help so your recovery feels calmer and more supported. We help with soothing, swaddling, diapering, pumping, bottles, nap routines, meal prep, tidying, and anything that helps your day run smoothly.
How is a daytime doula different from a nanny or babysitter?
Nannies focus on childcare. Postpartum doulas support both you and your baby. We are trained in newborn behavior, lactation, maternal recovery, mental health awareness, and family adjustment. Our goal is not just to care for your baby, but to help you heal, rest, and gain confidence.
Do you help with breastfeeding, pumping, and bottle-feeding?
Yes. We provide evidence-based guidance on latch, positioning, paced bottle-feeding, flange sizing, milk storage, pumping routines, and combination feeding. Feeding support is included at no additional cost.
Can you teach me how to care for my newborn?
Absolutely. Daytime doula care is the perfect time to learn diapering, bathing, soothing, swaddling, burping, feeding cues, sleep cues, and safe newborn handling. We guide you step-by-step until you feel confident.
Do you help with household tasks?
Yes. Light household support is part of nurturing the postpartum family. This may include washing bottles, pump parts, baby laundry, simple meal prep, and organization. Our goal is to remove the stress so you can focus on healing and bonding.
Will you take care of the baby so I can sleep or shower?
Absolutely. Many parents use daytime support for rest, longer showers, self-care, or catching up on tasks. We care for your baby safely while you recharge.
Do you offer support for C-section recovery?
Yes. We support C-section recovery by helping mothers move safely, manage pain and fatigue, care for their incision area, and rest deeply while handling newborn care and essential household tasks.
What’s the difference between a postpartum doula, night nurse, and newborn care specialist?
Postpartum doulas support the whole family, not just the baby. Night nurses and newborn care specialists focus primarily on baby care. Unlike many night nurses who rely solely on experience, our doulas are trained and certified professionals and are up-to-date on evidenced-based guidance, physical and emotional childbirth recovery, navigating life with a new baby, and of course, newborn care.
How do postpartum packages work?
You can book hourly packages with flexible daytime or overnight schedules tailored to your family's needs. Daytime sessions can be 4-6 hours long, and overnight sessions 8-12 hours.
How far in advance should I secure a postpartum doula?
Most families secure support during the second trimester to ensure availability and allow time to build a relationship with their doula.
Do you provide overnight support?
Yes! Overnight support is invaluable for establishing sleep routines, helping parents rest, and providing reassurance during the first few weeks.
